The Alliance has been for fifty years working to promote the education and study of military history and our membership and influence continues to grow within the historical community.   

The Menin Gate located in Ypres, Belgium contains the names for over 50,000 Commonwealth soldiers who died in the Ypres salient during WW1.   The memorial was closed in 2023 for extensive repairs prior to it 100th anniversary in 2027.   Recently reopen The Alliance will had honour of participating in the re-opening along with five other individual from Canada the week of October 19th - 23rd.
