Decoration Day at Dundurn Castle in Hamilton is an annual commemoration rooted in one of Canada’s earliest traditions of honouring fallen soldiers.  The event blends remembrance, education, and family‑friendly activities, held on the grounds of Dundurn Park and centred around the Hamilton Military Museum. What to expect:  • Historical Interpretation: Learn about the origins of Decoration Day and its role as Canada’s first day of remembrance.  • Military Heritage Activities:  • Vintage military vehicles on display  • Soldiers in period uniforms  • Hands‑on activities and interactive exhibits  • Historic presentations and demonstrations  • Family-Friendly Programming: A mix of education and entertainment suitable for all ages.
